For those who have struggled with making due in small spaces, you’ve probably had to come up with some creative ways to maximize your space, specifically in your bathroom. Sometimes there just isn’t enough counter or cabinet space to hold all of our bathroom accessories, so we’re sharing with you a few ways you can maximize your bathroom storage. Keep reading to find out!
Sink
Sinks with cabinets underneath can take up a good chunk of space in your bathroom, making the room look more crowded than it actually is. While the cabinets act as good storage, you can also opt for a wall-mounted sink or vanity to clear up some of your floor space.
Shower
Instead of a full-sized bathtub, consider a shower stall, which will take up significantly less space in your bathroom. Specifically, if your shower stall has a glass door, this will make the room appear to be more open. If a glass enclosure isn’t an option, clear shower curtains will do the trick!
Floating Shelves
Not only are floating shelves a fun and stylish way to add some life to your bathroom, they also act as additional storage and don’t take up any floor or counter space. Instead of using up all of your sink counter space with your skincare and oral hygiene products, add a floating shelf to your wall that can comfortably hold these items.
Over-the-Door Racks
Instead of taking up wall space with towel holders, throw an over-the-door rack or mounted hook on your bathroom door. This will hold all of your towels and is a great way to free up some wall space.
Toilet
Most people don’t think to take advantage of the space above the toilet, maybe because of its location, but you can get pretty creative with this area. Consider installing a cabinet unit over the toilet tank. This can hold bathroom accessories, as well as toiletries, and can free up your counter space on the sink. If you want to completely upgrade your toilet, you can opt for a rounded bowl rather than an oval one.
